Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) from the city laid a trap in the Dhawada area of Sillod tehsil and seized a total of nine kilograms of marijuana.

A case was registered against three accused at the Sillod Rural Police Station in this regard. After the ATS received information that the buying and selling of marijuana had been going on in the Dhawada area for the past few days, Assistant Police Inspector Dinkar Shivaji Rao Gore, along with his colleagues, raided the area on Saturday.

Nine kgs of marijuana were seized from Raju Ganesh Jadhav (Dhawada), Nitin Ashok Jaiswal (Lihakhedi), and Ganesh Haribhau Badak (Palshi).

The police said that the market value of the seized marijuana is approximately Rs. 1,80,000. A case was registered at the Sillod Rural Police Station, and PSI Lahu Ghode is conducting further investigation under the guidance of Assistant Police Inspector Ravindra Thackeray.
