Aurangabad, Dec 30:

The third phase of the property tax and water bill recovery drive is being carried out in all the seven wards coming under the Aurangabad Cantonment Board (ACB). Chief executive officer Vikrant More has warned that that water connections of those who do not pay property tax and water bills till January 15 will be disconnected. The ACB had launched a two-phase property tax recovery drive in December. Under this, water bills and property taxes of more than Rs 10 lakh were collected within few days. But many property owners have not paid taxes for three to five years. They have been repeatedly instructed. But as it is being ignored, More has warned to take action against the tax-defaulters in the third phase of the recovery drive.
