In a case involving alleged fraud of foreign nationals through a fake call centre, accused Valay Parag Vyas has been granted conditional bail by Additional Sessions Judge Pandharinath Jambare on a bond of Rs 25,000.

The court imposed conditions that the accused must not influence witnesses, must not commit a similar offence, must not leave the country without prior permission, and must furnish his permanent address and details of relatives. The relief was granted due to lack of evidence and absence of proof of direct involvement. During the hearing, the court observed that the accused appeared to be merely an employee at the call centre, with no concrete evidence linking him directly to the fraud. There was no proof of misuse of the seized mobile phone and laptop, no victim statements had been recorded, and the accused has no prior criminal record.
