Aurangabad, Feb 9:

The crime branch of the rural police arrested the thieves who broke into a grain warehouse in Chittagaon and stole 80 quintals of tur dal. About 48 quintals of stolen tur was seized from the accused.

According to police, the accused are Ilias Suleman Khan (Aurangabad), Jabbar Budhan Pathan (Shripat Dhamangaon, Jalna) and Ravi Laxman Wahule (Pimpali Dhamangaon, Jalna). Manish Jaganlal Sahuji had lodged a complaint at Chikalthana police station regarding tur theft. A team comprising PI Bhagwat Funde, SI Sandeep Solanke, constables Rajendra Joshi, Sanjay Kale, and others arrested the accused Ilyas Khan. During cross-examination, he confessed to the crime and named other accomplices. Police arrested accused Pathan and Wahule. During interrogation, thy confessed of hiding the goods at Omkar Traders in Partur and Nikhil Traders in Majalgaon. Police seized 48 quintals of tur from both the places.
