Aurangabad, March 26:

The Indigo Ahmedabad – Aurangabad flight scheduled to arrive at the Chikalthana Airport on Thursday afternoon returned after wandering in the air in the city limits without landing.

The flight arrived in the city at around 12.30 pm but did not land at the Chikalthana Airport and instead fly in the air in the city limits. The passengers in the plane were told that the landing is not possible due to the air pressure. After wandering for around an hour, the flight flew in the altitudes again and was landed at Indore. The passengers were then taken to Shirdi from where they came to Aurangabad by bus.

When tried to contact the Indigo officers, they were not available.

The Chikalthana Airport officers said, the flight was not stable for the final landing and hence the decision was taken to take the flight to Indore. The visibility was fine but the reason for it was not known, they said.

Meanwhile, some passengers went to Delhi after landing at Indore and some were taken to Shirdi from where they came to the city by bus, the sources said.
