Aurangabad, June 28:

Students wing All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Musleemin (AIMIMI) demanded that the fee of students of standards up to 12th should be waived because of the poor financial condition of parents in Covid lockdown.

A delegation led by its State unit president Dr Kunal Kharat submitted a memorandum to the deputy director of Education (Aurangabad division) on Monday stating that many schools insisting students bring fee.

“The schools should collect the only tuition and avoid education loss of students. The Government should issue a circular for this purpose. This will also help in reducing tension between parents and schools,” the youth wing officer-bearers said.

They also threatened to launch an agitation if their demand is not fulfilled.

Dr Kharat, Mazhar Pathan, Rehman Alam Khan, Raj Chouthmal, Nawaz Qureshi, Sami Ali Khan and others were present.
