Good news for passengers traveling to Bengaluru. Under IndiGo’s Summer Schedule 2026, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Bengaluru flight service will operate four days a week, up from the current three, informed Sunil Kothari, chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Aurangabad Tourism Development Foundation.

Effective from March 31, flights will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The afternoon schedule will benefit business professionals, IT employees, and students. The increased frequency will reduce travel time and improve connectivity, especially important for IT, startups, and education sectors. The decision is based on rising passenger demand between the two cities.

Boost to industry, tourism, and education

The enhanced connectivity is expected to benefit the industry, tourism, and education sectors. Strengthening air links with Bengaluru, a major IT hub, is seen as a positive step for local industries. Sunil Kothari said the increase in flight services will be a significant milestone in the development of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
