Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The second day of the four-day All India Inter-University Road Cycling Championship, jointly organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and MGM University, was held with great enthusiasm on Thursday. The contest was inaugurated on Wednesday.

The participants delivered impressive performances in the Men's and Women's Team Time Trial events on the second day, earning applause from spectators. In the Men's 50 km Team Time Trial, Maharaja Ganga Singh University (Bikaner) secured first place with a time of 1:08:14.255 hours at a speed of 43.96 km/h.

Punjab University (Chandigarh) finished second with 1:08:27.601 hours, while Lovely Professional University (Punjab) claimed third with 1:09:53.394 hours.

In the Women's 30 km Team Time Trial, Punjab University (Chandigarh) topped the standings with a time of 46:54.077 minutes at a speed of 38.38 km/h. Maharaja Ganga Singh University (Bikaner) finished second with 48:10.280 minutes, and Lovely Professional University came third with 48:50.092 minutes.

Dr Shrinivas Motiyele, Dr Sadashiv Javheri, Rahim Khan, Dr Amardeep Asolkar, Aishwarya Aghav and others worked for the success of the event.
