‘Albatya Galbatya 2.0’ to be staged in city with new look and special effects

The world-record-holding Marathi play Albatya Galbatya returns in a new avatar titled Albatya Galbatya 2.0, and will be staged on Sunday, May 10, at 8.30 pm at Sant Eknath Rangmandir, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The show is presented by Zee Marathi with a refreshed “new colour and new style” aimed at children and family audiences. The production features grand sets, special effects and original rhythmic music designed to create a magical experience and revive childlike imagination. Actor Nilesh Gopnarayan will play the witch, with direction by Chinmay Mandlekar and production by Advait Theatres. The new version also includes a fresh song by Vaishali Samant and Avadhoot Gupte.
