Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: All the answer sheets of the students from Jaitapur (Kannad) examination centres were seized and will be sent to the divisional office of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) for verification.

It may be noted that 24 teachers, employees and centre chief were found helping in mass copying at Rashtriya Uchha Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Jaitapur village in Kannad tehsil of the district on February 10, the first day of the HSC examination being conducted by MSBSHSE.

A total of 327 students were present at 14 examination halls of the centre on Tuesday when the flying squad reached there and started checking the centre. The squad found nine papers with the same answers being used by students.

As per the instructions, only one student should sit on a single bench while two students sit on the same bench at the centre.

Report of mass copying to Divisional office of Board

A similar pattern of mass copying was going on in the examination centre. Therefore, the answer sheets of all the students in the centre have been seized. Those answer sheets will be sent to the sectional boards for special examination. A report has been prepared and will be handed over to the sectional board on Wednesday. Only then will it be clear from the examination of the answer sheets whether mass copying took place or not.
