Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The four-day All-India Inter-University Road Cycling Championship, jointly organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and MGM University, concluded at the Einstein Auditorium on Saturday.

In the men's category, Maharaja Ganga Singh University (Bikaner), and in the women's category, Punjab University (Chandigarh), delivered outstanding performances to clinch the overall championship titles. The winning teams were honoured with mementoes, medals and certificates.

Among those present were Dr Monika Ghuge (Deputy Director, Sports Authority of India, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), Rupali Darekar (Superintendent of Police, Highway Police), Dr Deepak Kumar Singh (AIU), Sanjay Sathe (Secretary, Cycling Association of Maharashtra), and Dharmendra Lamba (Cycling Federation of India).

Vice-Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, Director Nitin Ghorpade and Dr Dinesh Vanjare from MGM University were present. Dr Ashish Gadekar delivered the welcome address. Dr Zainab Minaj conducted the proceedings of the programme while Dean Dr John Chelladurai proposed a vote of thanks.

Dr Shrinivas Motiyele, Dr Sadashiv Javheri, Rahim Khan, Dr Amardeep Asolkar, Aishwarya Aghav, Balaji Shelke, Nilesh Khare, Arjun Todke and all other team members were present.
