Aurangabad, Jan 2:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 129 antigen and 1673 RT-PCR tests (total 1802 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 18 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 43 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected five Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 439 RT-PCR tests on suspects. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 57 antigen tests and detected 11 Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 1160 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 15 RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 59 today. The private laboratories also conducted 29 antigen tests and found two infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
