Aurangabad, Jan 2:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health section conducted RT-PCR tests of 993 teachers and non-teaching staff and detected one Covid-19 positive. The testing was done from December 28 to January 2, 2021.
It may be noted that the state government has allowed the high schools to conduct offline classes for standard ninth and tenth. The schools will be re-opening from January 4, but the government had made it mandatory for each teacher to undergo the test, before it.
The RT-PCR test was conducted at 16 centres, situated in different corners of the city. The centres were established in Chikalthana, Ramnagar, Reliance Mall-Garkheda, Shivajinagar, Tapadiya Kasliwal Ground, Baijipura, Harshnagar, Cidco N-8, N-11, N-2, Cantonment, CIPET Covid Care Centre, Kile Ark, MGM, Padampura and MIT Covid Care Centre.
