Aurangabad, Dec 29:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 157 antigen and 791 RT-PCR tests (total 948 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 13 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 40 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 127 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 61 antigen tests and detected eight Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 592 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 11 RT-PCR tests and private laboratories conducted 61 today. The private laboratories also conducted 56 antigen tests and found three infected patients (including one from an area situated outside the AMC limit). The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
