Aurangabad, Dec 22:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 160 antigen and 698 RT-PCR tests (total 858 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 14 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 39 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 140 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 75 antigen tests and detected seven Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 499 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 18 RT-PCR tests; District Civil Hospital conducted two and private laboratories conducted 39 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, private laboratories also conducted 46 antigen tests and detected five infected patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
