Aurangabad, Dec 23:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 193 antigen and 916 RT-PCR tests (total 1109 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 15 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 74 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected one Covid-19 patient on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 163 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 60 antigen tests and detected 12 Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 653 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 17 RT-PCR tests and private laboratories conducted 83 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, private laboratories also conducted 59 antigen tests and detected two infected patients (including one from an area out of the AMC limit). The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
