AMC detects 20 COVID patients in city on Monday

Aurangabad, Dec 21:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 174 antigen and 828 RT-PCR tests (total 1002 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 20 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 64 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected six Covid-19 patients (including one resident from an area out of AMC limit) on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 167 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 98 antigen tests and detected 14 Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 592 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted 15 RT-PCR tests and private laboratories conducted 54 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 12 antigen tests but found none of them infected. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
