Aurangabad, Jan 16:

The visitors (doctors and paramedical staff) at the five vaccination centres set up by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) were impressed with the floral decorations made at the entrance, drawing of rangoli, decoration of balloons, selfie-point and clean campus today. The preparations were being made to welcome the beneficiaries and implement the drive since at 6 am with zeal and enthusiasm was maintained till 5 pm.

The drive got inaugurated with the first shot at Bansilalnagar centre in the presence of the guardian minister Subhash Desai, MP Bhagwat Karad, MLA Atul Save, MLC Ambadas Danve, Shiv Sena leader Chandrakant Khaire, former mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, Gajanan Barwal, district collector Sunil Chavan, municipal commissioner A K Pandey and the municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar. At the outset, Karad and Save questioned about the invitees to Dr Padalkar and about displaying of large screen as the Prime Minister was inaugurating the drive in the nation and about the awareness of vaccination drive to the collector. Later on, an argument took place between the journalists and the collector. The media persons expressed their disappointment before the guardian minister. However, Khaire intervened the matter and settled it. Accordingly, the enthusiasm prevailed upon the campus.
