A minor dispute at a tea stall quickly escalated into a violent clash between two groups of criminals. Both sides brandished weapons and rods, attempting homicide. The incident, which took place on the night of January 25 at Cannought Place, left three people seriously injured.

The confrontation involved criminals with a history of murder and attempted murder, spreading fear among local shopkeepers. Cidco police arrested the accused: Gaurav Nanasaheb Wankhede (24), Rohan Jadhav (27), both residents of Triveninagar N7, Damodar Aghav (19), and Radheshyam Gite (22), residents of Jaybhavani Nagar. Cidco police inspector Atul Yerme paraded all four arrested accused on foot through the Canaught Place area on Wednesday. Police also cleared the streets by driving away loiterers and miscreants.
