The Anti-Rabies Serum (ARS), which is crucial for treating severe dog bite cases, is now available at Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH). Around 1,000 ARS injections have been received by the hospital and are ready for immediate use, informed Dean Dr. Shivaji Sukre. ARS is essential for patients with Grade-3 dog bite injuries, as the risk of infection is significantly higher in such cases. Immediate treatment is necessary to prevent complications.
