Aurangabad, Oct 13:

An audio clip of a local bus driver of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has gone viral on social media today. He is questioning in the clip on how to feed the family of six persons as he had got the salary of Rs 930 only.

In the audio clip, the driver is speaking to a lady officer. When the driver mentions about his meagre salary, the lady officer tells him to visit the depot and get his queries answered. Sensation prevailed as two days ago, one MSRTC employee from Nasik had committed suicide after he got a salary of Rs 223.

When inquired, it came to know that the name of the driver is Madhav Jamkar. When contacted, he informed about getting Rs 930 as the salary for July. He also mentioned problems he is facing due to shortage of money.

Meanwhile, the repeated efforts to contact the depot manager of Cidco Bus Stand, Amol Bhusari, proved futile as his mobile phone was switched off. Meanwhile, the MSRTC sources mentioned that the said driver was absent on duty. Hence, the salary was released to him as per his working days.
