Aurangabad, Dec 24:

Five Aurangabad tourists gone on tour in a car during Christmas vacations to Mahabaleshwar met an accident at Kelghar Ghat on Wednesday afternoon. The car driver died on the spot while the other four passengers sustained minor injuries.

According to the details, five tourists from Aurangabad had gone for vacations to Mahabaleswar. While going from Mahabaleshwar to Satara in the car (MH 20 CS 9787) fell from the bridge and fell in the bed of Venna river near Ambeghar. The driver Amit Joshi (42, Aurangabad) jumped from the car but unfortunately came under the car and died on the spot. The other passengers in the car, Yashraj patil (18), Samarjeet Bachire (17), Sanket Patil (16) and Ayush Shendge (all residents of Aurnagabad) sustained minor injuries and are being treated at a hospital at Medha. Meanwhile, the body of Amit Joshi was sent for postmortem, the sources said.
