Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Auto-rickshaw drivers in the city had been facing difficulties over the past month due to shortage of LPG at gas stations. The situation worsened with a price hike, disrupting their financial stability. Before the conflict in Gulf countries, LPG was available between Rs 60 and Rs 90 per litre, but prices had surged to Rs 120 per litre.

Now, drivers are set to get some relief as ‘Go Gas’ has reduced the rate to Rs 99 per litre. LPG stock is currently available at pumps in Kanchanwadi, Beed Bypass, Chikalthana and South City areas. The administration had advised the company to bring down the prices. District supply officer Pravin Phulari said that LPG will now be available at Rs 99 per litre at Go Gas pumps across the city.
