Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Maulana Azad College received the ‘Best Innovative Institute Award – 2026’ at the national-level Educators Summit, held here recently.

Various colleges from across the State presented the innovative initiatives they have implemented—both through their NSS units and at individual and institutional levels. Across two sessions, a total of 25 colleges showcased their projects.

Representing Maulana Azad College at the conference, Dr J D Shaikh, Dr Ashfaq Khan, and Dr Samreen Fatema delivered a presentation regarding the various innovative initiatives undertaken.

For the past four years, the college has been successfully implementing an initiative “Zakaria Science Exploration.” Dr Vilas Sapkal, Vice-Chancellor of MGM University, presented the award to the college team.
