Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Mohammed Zaid Mohammed Arif, a student of Maulana Azad College was selected for the State team for the under-19 national-level school football tournament.
The tournament which will be held at Manipur, Imphal, between April 15 and 21, will feature top teams across the country.
Currently, he is attending a training camp being hosted at Divisional Sports Complex (Mankapur, Nagpur) up to April 14.
College Principal Dr Mazhar Ahmed Farooqui, vice Principal Shaikh Abbas, sports teacher Akbar Khan, teaching and non teaching staff and Zaid's friends congratulated him on this big achievement.
