Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

With the objective of boosting domestic tourism, a day-long buyer–seller (B2B) meet for tourism professionals was organised on Thursday evening by the India Tourism Regional Office (West and Central), Mumbai, in collaboration with the Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS)in the city.

The event was graced by regional director, India Tourism, Mumbai, Mohammed Farouk, and assistant director, India Tourism, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Malti Dutta. Tourism stakeholders from both regions engaged in discussions on the tourism potential and emerging opportunities in Karnataka and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Addressing the gathering, Farouk and KTS office-bearer Roshan Pinto highlighted that such initiatives play a key role in strengthening domestic tourism and fostering collaboration among tourism stakeholders. They also stressed the importance of promoting lesser-known destinations within both tourism circuits.

The meet saw active participation from tourism stakeholders from Karnataka, along with representatives of the Aurangabad Tourism Development Foundation (ATDF), the Travel Agent Association of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (TAACH), and the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
