Aurangabad, Feb 17: Wockhardt Global School (WGS, an IB continuum school), Shendra MIDC, Aurangabad organised a cultural event ‘Bahaar- A Festival of Flowers’ on the school grounds, recently. The event was held in association with Meenakshi Mats, Matrix Fine Sciences, Sakla Nursery, Radio Mirchi and Crescent Event. The first day of the event boasted of vibrant dance performances, foot-tapping folk music and literary gems from several local artists. Sarita Radke, Iqbal Sheikh Minne, Girish Joshi and Kasturi Kulkarni presented their original literary works, revolving around various themes but oriented towards the students. Several dance performances by local dance groups, The Sky and Suraj and group, enthralled the audiences. The folk singing group added local flavour to the fest by presenting Bharud and Gondhal. The gorgeous flower displays attracted all. The display by the Archaeological Survey of India was another attraction.
