In an assault case linked to an old dispute after a wedding, additional sessions judge Shaukat S. Gorawade rejected anticipatory bail pleas of Yogesh, Ashok and Kishor Gorme, while granting conditional relief to Manoj Gorme on a Rs 25,000 bond.

According to the complaint, Swapnil Sarone was attacked on March 11 with an iron rod, belt, and kicks, resulting in a fracture to his right hand. A case has been registered at Jinsi police station. The court held that recovery of the iron rod and belt is crucial, hence bail was denied to three accused. Manoj’s role was limited to dragging the complainant, with no weapon recovery pending. He has been directed not to influence witnesses and to cooperate with the investigation.
