The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has invited e-tender to develop Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray''s Memorial at Priyadarshini Garden in Cidco, today. The office will accept the tender between October 13 and November 6, while it will be opened on November 10.

Meanwhile, the AMC has organised a pre-bid meeting with the desirous contractors to discuss the project on October 29. The civic administration has invited the e-tender after seeking technical approval from the public works department (PWD).

Earlier, the state government had granted an administrative approval of Rs 25.49 crore for the development of garden (Smrutivan) and the memorial. The approved work includes installation of the life-size statue of Balasaheb Thackeray, construction of the museum, horticulture works, footpath, compound wall, electrical works and partly site development works.
