Aurangabad, Dec 30:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) has saved Rs 7 crore by doing well financial planning this year.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Pramod Yeole said that earlier each answer books which was purchased at Rs 7 while we bought at the cost of

Rs 2.37 each.

“At the beginning, I personally look after each and every bill even if it was of Rs 100. I have put a check on all unnecessary expenses. Now, the university should function as a corporate house,” he added.

VC Dr Yeole said that a leave management system will be implemented from the New Year. The submission and approval of leave will be done online in the new system.
