Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu)
will start admission process for the postgraduate courses at its city campus and Osmanabad sub-centre from December 22 for the academic year 2021-20. The last date of admission is December 31.
There are 45 academic departments in the city and 10 at Osmanabad sub-centre.
The administration held a meeting recently to fix the schedule of the admissions.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Shyam Shirsath, chairman of the admissions committee Capt Dr Suresh Gaikwad, deputy registrar of PG Department Dr Digamber Netke were present in the meeting.
Aspirants can register online between December 22 and 31.
The first provisional list will be displayed on January 2 while the first merit list will be released on January 6. The second list will be out on January 18, and the third list displaying date is January 23. If seats remain vacant, spot admission round would be implemented. The classes will commence in the PG department from January 18.
The name some of PG courses which are available in the city campus is as follows; M A in Marathi, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Women Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, History, Geography, Foreign Languages, Psychology, Archaeology, Phule-Ambedkar Thoughts, Yoga, Music, BPA and Lifelong Education and Extension Services.
M Sc-Physics, Zoology, Electronics, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Nano-Technology, M Tech-Chemical Technology, B Tech-Chemical Technology, B Voc/M Voc-Industrial Automation and Automobile Technology, MBA, MCA, Printing Technology, LLM, M Com, MIB DBM, MFA, MMCJ, M Ed, MP Ed and M Lib. The admission process for the MSW course in Social Work College will also commence.
