Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The celebrations of the 135th Bhim Jayanti at PES Engineering College, Nagsenvan, commenced on Wednesday with a peaceful and enlightening Dhammadesna (Buddhist discourse).

The Dhammadesna was delivered by Pujya Bhadant Payyaratna Thero (Nanded), who shared profound insights into the teachings of Lord Buddha.

During his discourse, he highlighted the importance of Buddhism in today’s society and explained the relevance of Bhim Jayanti as a symbol of equality, knowledge, and social transformation inspired by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

It was also shared that Pujya Bhadant Payyaratna Thero has devoted his life to the propagation of Buddhism.

He spent six years in Sri Lanka studying and spreading Buddhist teachings, and since 2012, he has been residing in Nanded, where he continues his work through a Buddha Dham (Vihar), actively promoting Dhamma and guiding society towards morality, mindfulness and harmony.
