Aurangabad, Dec 16:

The employees of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) were felicitated as ‘COVID 19 Warriors’ in a programme organised by Bharat Battalion on Tuesday.

It may be noted that personnel of Bharat Battalion were deployed in the city and Malegaon during the lockdown. A total of 97 Jawans who were in Malegaon were found COVID positive. They received qualitative treatment at AMC’s MIT COVID Centre. The civic body sprayed disinfectant at its premises frequently and provide meal and other facilities.

Commandant of the Battalion G S Nijlewar felicitated AMC medical officer Dr Babasaheb Unavne, supervisor Shaikh Anwar, KG Daud, Borade, Sunil Solunke, Santrame Sane, Bharat Bochre and doctors and nurse of the COVID centre.
