Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The Shiv Jayanti Festival Committee of Navin Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Ganesh Mahasangh organised a grand bike rally on Thursday from Gajanan Maharaj Mandir Chowk to celebrate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Lokmat group editor-in-chief Rajendra Darda flagged off the rally with a saffron flag. Raising slogans in praise of Shivaji Maharaj, the rally passed through various city localities and proceeded to Kranti Chowk. The rally was organised under the guidance of founder president Baburao Didore and current president Jyotiram Patil. Rally heads Dr Divya Patil and Shivani Didore coordinated the event. Corporators Surendra Kulkarni, Ashok Damle, Rajeshrao Vakte, Sachin Gugle, Aniket Rathod, Vishal Didore, and other committee members were present. The rally passed through Pundalik Nagar, Jaybhavani Nagar Chowk, Trimurti Chowk, and Akashvani Chowk before reaching Kranti Chowk via Jalna Road. The rally concluded after participants paid tribute at the memorial of Shivaji Maharaj. Hundreds of young men and women participated, raising slogans such as “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ki Jai” and “Jai Jijau, Jai Shivray,” filling the rally route with enthusiasm.
