District Judge P. D. Jhambre has ordered the arrest of Shivram Davande, who failed to pay Rs 15.42 lakh with 9% interest to the heirs of Ravindra Sonawane, who died in a motorcycle collision on March 21, 2014. Ravindra, a JCB operator for Nagesh Ramchandra Joshi in Ellora, was riding from Kasabkheda to Ellora when Davande’s motorcycle collided with his, causing his death. Ravindra’s father Vasantrao and sister Pramila filed a claim through Adv K. S. Tandulje. Non-payment led to the arrest order. Tandulje is assisted by Adv Amol Ghuge, Nitin Dabhade, and Pushpa Bedre.
