Aurangabad, Feb 22: Rich tributes were paid to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the occasion of his birth anniversary at Maharashtra Hindi Vidyalaya, Shahganj.

Chief guest and blogger Amol Bhandwalkar said the scope of work done by the great king is vast. Memorable battles, women’s security, agriculture and water policies were some of the important features of Shivaji's era.

Headmaster Ravindra Tayade underlined the historical work of Shivaji Maharaj. Primary headmaster Kishor Patil was also present. Drawing teacher Sopan Karvande drew an attractive picture of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the school blackboard. Manisha Thorat conducted the proceedings.Yogesh Nimbone proposed a vote of thanks. Pushpa Gatkhane, Savita Kapadnis, Lata Suradkar, and others were present.
