Aurangabad, Feb 5:

The people’s representatives of BJP and AIMIM were not called for the district review meeting held in the presence of chief minister at the district collectorate on Friday. When came to know from the district administration that there were directives from the CM office that BJP and AIMIM people’s representatives should not be called for the meeting, the BJP group alleged that we are allergic to CM.

Haribhau Bagade, Atul Save, Prashant Bamb are the BJP MLAs in the district while Dr Bhagwat Karad is BJP MP. Similarly, Imtiyaaz Jaleel is an AIMIM MP. None of these were invited for the meeting.

In this regard, MP Jaleel said that I am at Delhi due to the Lok Sabha session. However, I was not informed about the CM’s meeting. There was no planning for the review meeting and it is being done to grab the credit of all the small and big works done in the district. People are questioning and hence these attempts are being made to show that some works are being done, he said.

MLA Atul Save said that when asked to the district collector Sunil Chavan about it, he told that we were directed from the CM office. Chief minister is afraid that he will be infected by Corona from us. Hence we might not have been invited but the people’s representatives from his party were present. He would have some fear from the BJP, Save mentioned.

District Collector, Sunil Chavan said, this meeting was for the officers only and these were the directives from the chief minister. The representatives of the CM’s party came by their own. The people’s representatives, ministers did not discussed any issued during the meeting. MLA Save had asked me about the meeting and I told him that the meeting is for the officers, Chavan mentioned.
