Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Following his election, BJP leader and newly elected mayor Sameer Rajurkar departed for Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon to meet Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The delegation met the CM at 10.30 pm.

The meeting was attended by several senior party leaders, including OBC welfare minister and election in-charge Atul Save, Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLC Sanjay Kenekar, and city president Kishor Shitole, among other office-bearers.

Speaking to the media, Dr Karad and MLC Kenekar said that the CM conveyed his best wishes to the mayor and the entire team, praising their electoral victory and expressing confidence in their future governance.
