The Government College of Education (IASE), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, organized a blood donation camp to mark the death anniversary of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The event was part of the Government Medical College’s blood donation awareness campaign recently.

College principal Dr Nalini Chondekar, along with senior professors Dr Urjit Karvande, Dr Vanita Ramteke, Dr Gautam Gaikwad, Dr Rameshwar Padma, and coordinators Dr Bhagyashree Subhedar, Dr Sujata Sonawane, and Siddhant Chandanshiv, graced the occasion. Professor Dr Urjit Karvande, M.Ed trainee Amar Wakale, and B.Ed trainees Sambhaji Shewate, Srinivas Bhagat, Akash Jadhav, and Karan Shinde donated blood. Female students Kalpana Jadhav and Mansi Pawar also participated. The camp’s success was credited to faculty, administrative staff, and the Government Medical College team, led by Social Service Superintendent Anusaya Ghogare.
