Aurangabad, July 19:

The blood donation camp organised under the Lokmat’s campaign ‘Raktacha Nata’ and to mark the birthday of chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday receive a good response. The camp was organised at Gujarat Freight Carriers, near Bhuvan Hyundai in Waluj area. In all, 38 persons donated blood.

The camp was organised with the assistance of Maharashtra Vahatuk Sena and Aurangabad Goods Transport Association. In the introductory speech Vahatuk Sena district president Yusuf Khan said that Lokmat is always ahead in the social works. We are with Lokmat in this pious activity of blood donation. Earlier, Lokmat had made a record in singing national anthem. We salute this commitment towards the nation. There was a huge scarcity of blood during the Corona period, but Lokmat took lead and appealed the people, which borne the fruits, he said.

Salim Khamgaonkar, Ajay Wagh, Shahaz Qazi, Zuber Patel, Rajesh Katkade, Vedprakash Chaudhary, Transport Association vice president Asad Ahmed, Vinod Jain, Jaikumar Thanvi, Aga Khan and others were present.
