Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Twenty-six passengers had a narrow escape after an ST bus (MH-20-BL-2908) travelling from Jalgaon to Vaijapur collided head-on with a truck (MH-43-BP-7185) near the Pir Dargah turn in Ghat on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Jalgaon highway on Friday around 2 pm.

No injuries were reported, but the mishap triggered a three-hour traffic snarl, leaving wedding guests, tourists and students stranded in the heat. Some motorists diverted via Fardapur towards the Soygaon–Haldha route. Police teams from Fardapur and Ajanta stations rushed to the spot and restored traffic after clearing the vehicles.
