CA Amol Godha elected ICAI city branch chairman; CA Rafeeque Pathan is new secretary

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: CA Amol Godha elected as the chairman of the city Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the year 2026-27.

The other office-bearers of the ICAI branch are as follows: CA Kedar Pande (Vice Chairman), CA Rafeeque Pathan (Secretary), CA Aishwarya Bramhecha (Treasurer), CA Anand Totla ( WICASA chairman) and CA Sameer Shinde (member).

CA Godha took charge of the post on Wednesday. CA Mahesh Indani ( Immediate Past Chairman and Branch Committee Member).

CA Amol Godha said that the ICAI city branch is taking care of more than 1300 Chartered Accountants and over 5000 students in the entire Marathwada and adjoining districts.

He said that the branch would hold conferences and seminars whenever there are amendments in Taxation and Corporate Laws, which is the main motto for the year.

“The conferences and seminars will provide value addition and awareness to the CA members of the branch and the knowledge that members gather from here is very much helpful to them in their day-to-day practice. Branch will also organise seminars for public awareness of taxation and its compliance, as well as investors' awareness programmes,” he said.

WICASA president CA Anand Totla said that WICASA aims to add more new students to its wing, while conducting career counselling programmes and other programs in students' interest throughout Marathwada.
