Narrow bridge sounds danger bell
The Paithan-Pachod highway is heavily trafficked, with vehicles moving around the clock. The Virbhadra River bridge at Davarvadi, being narrow, has increased the risk of accidents.
In the past two years, many vehicles have fallen directly from the bridge into the riverbed, and the narrow bridge could cause a major accident. Therefore, vehicle owners and commuters are demanding that the concerned administration construct a new, wider bridge.
