Aurangabad, Oct 29:

Carlsberg India, Aurangabad brewery has been conferred with the acclaimed Golden Peacock Occupational Health and Safety Award (GPOHSA) 2020. Carlsberg bagged the award in the beverage category, for its commitment towards making significant achievements in the field of occupational health and safety.

Speaking about the achievement, Muthuraman Ramanathan, vice president (operations) Carlsberg India Pvt Ltd said, “Protecting the health and safety of our people and community in all work activities is a core value in the way we operate, and this award is a testament to our efforts. As a part of our together towards zero program, we strive to create a zero-accident culture amongst our colleagues and encourage them to demonstrate leadership behaviors in following safe working procedures. During these testing times, it is encouraging to receive an award that advocates our belief that no work is so important that it cannot be done safely.” Aurangabad brewery was established in August 2008 and today it is Carlsberg India’s largest brewery by volume in the country.
