Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday unveiled the much-awaited results of the Grade 10 Examination 2026 (Session 1), bringing a wave of excitement and relief among students. Over 5,000 students from various schools appeared for the first session, each carrying aspirations of success. As the results were announced, joy, pride, and a sense of accomplishment filled the air. This newspaper reached out to some of the top performers, who shared their inspiring journeys, study strategies, and the determination that helped them achieve excellence.

Riddhima Vishwe: I studied for two hours every day throughout the academic year, focusing on consistency rather than quantity. This helped me stay relaxed and less stressed during the board exams. My goal is to learn from every experience and serve my country in every possible way.
Achieving the top position in my school is a dream come true. The positive and motivating school environment played a crucial role in my journey and made every challenge easier. I enjoy playing badminton, dancing, and I am also a cricket enthusiast. My parents, Dr Cheta Vishwe and Dr Amit Vishwe, both ophthalmologists, have been my greatest strength. This achievement is a result of our collective hard work.

Utkarsha Karad: I aspire to become a Computer Science Engineer from IIT Roorkee. At the beginning of the academic year, I studied for two to three hours daily. In the last one to two months before the exams, I increased my study time to six to seven hours. Self-study played a major role in my preparation.
My father was a topper in both SSC and HSC, and I was inspired to follow in his footsteps and secure a top position in my school. My father, Lahu Karad, is a principal, and my mother, Vaishali Karad, is a school teacher.

Ruhaan Shaikh: I love playing football and have represented at the Under-14 national-level football tournament. Currently, I am the only student from the Marathwada region to secure a place in the Maharashtra squad. This result shows that a sportsperson can also perform well in academics. I also enjoy swimming and trying new sports. Initially, I studied for two to three hours daily, which I later increased to five to six hours during the final weeks before exams. I am yet to decide whether to pursue a medical or engineering. My father, Mohd Tareq Nadeem, is an engineer, and my mother, Syeda Shahana, is a college teacher.
