Jawaharnagar's chain-snatching spree continues unabated. Mohini Pathak (69, Samarth Housing Society), was robbed of a one-tola gold chain and a silver tulsi mala while returning on foot from Omkareshwar Mahadev temple on Monday morning at 10 am. Near Bhagwati Colony, a man carrying slippers approached from the opposite direction, snatched her chains, and fled on a waiting two-wheeler with an accomplice. A case has been registered at Jawaharnagar Police Station. The incident was caught on CCTV, and police strongly suspect the accused is a recorded offender recently released on bail now reportedly active in robberies again.
