Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Deputy Commissioner of Charity approved the change report of the executive body of Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (MSPM) for the period 2023 to 2028.

The education society gave this information on Wednesday. The executive board of MSPM Trust has seven office-bearers and 14 executive members.

As per the provisions of the Constitution of the trust, since it is necessary to elect a new executive board for the period 2023 to 2028, the General Secretary of the Trust, MLC Satish Chavan, had sent a notice of the general body meeting to all the members on June 8, 2023.

The general body meeting of the trust to elect a new executive board was held on July 2, 2023, under the chairmanship of Prakash Solanke in the auditorium of Deogiri College. The election of the new executive body was held unopposed in this meeting.

The new executive board was elected unopposed under the leadership of MLC Satish Chavan, Prakash Solanke and former MLA Amarsingh Pandit.

A change report was submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Charity as per the rules regarding this change. After the hearing, the Deputy Commissioner of Charity approved the change application by order on February 18.

The election of the executive body elected unopposed in the general meeting on July 2, 2023, was declared valid as it was held in accordance with the rules of the trust.

Lawyers Shrikant Advant, Prashant Nikam and Minal Jadhav appeared for the MSP Mandal and advocates Dilip Chaudhary and Meghraj Chaudhary represented the intervener Nitin Bagwe. He was assisted by Anil Nikam.
