The Lioness Club of Aurangabad Main''s charter night programme was recently held in the city.
Club''s regional chairperson Lioness Smita Mittal was the chief guest. Lns Mittal and past district president Sunila Narappan lighted the ceremonial lamp in the beginning. Club president Lns Neeta Birla gave the welcome speech, and Lns Meena Agarwal sang a welcome song. Club secretary Lns Anjali Agrawal delivered the work report of the past year of the club. Later Lns Pushpa Agarwal distributed blankets to the 35 HIV-positive children. Birthday gifts were also distributed. Jalna club president Anita Deevidan, Usha Nagpal, Beena Chawla, Bharti Verma, public relation officer Swati Basu and other Lioness were present.
