Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Bringing laurels to Maharashtra, students from the Services Preparatory Institutes (S.P.I) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and the Girls’Services Preparatory Institute in Nashik have achieved remarkable success in the NDA exam and the subsequent rigorous Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews. A total of 22 students from these institutes have been selected for the 156th NDA batch, earning the state significant recognition.

After clearing the written exam, many students often face challenges in the SSB interview’s ‘Screening In’ process. Keeping this in mind, the institute’s director, colonel Makrand Deshmukh (Retd.), devised a special strategy. With guidance from national-level experts and additional practice sessions, 28 out of 38 students cleared the ‘Screening In’ stage on their first attempt this year.

“While our students consistently perform well in the written exam, this year we focused specifically on improving SSB success rates. The combination of expert mentorship and the students’ determination has made this achievement possible,” said colonel Makrand Deshmukh.
