Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Marathwada Zone hosted its annual meeting 2024-25, followed by an engaging conference on Marathwada’s growth, on Thursday.

The event commenced with an overview of the key initiatives and achievements of the CII Marathwada Zone for the year 2024, presented by managing director (MD) Tool Tech Toolings and outgoing Zone chairman Sunil Kirdak. Key accomplishments included industry-academia collaboration, skill development programmes, MSME growth initiatives, and building competitiveness of Marathwada industry.

Member of CII National Committee on MSME, past Zone chair and director Expert Global Solutions Mukund Kulkarni delivered a keynote address on conference theme ‘Captivating Marathwada: Growth, innovation, and sustainability.’

He shared his perspectives on fostering an ecosystem of technological advancements, investments, and green initiatives. The event also facilitated an interactive session with CII Members and stakeholders.

Sunil Kirdak expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support and contributions.

Narwade is zonal council

chairman, Kulkarni vice chair

It was announced that vice-president (manufacturing), Greaves Cotton Ltd Prashant Narwade will be the chairman of the CII Marathwada Zonal Council for 2025-26. MD Endress Hauser Automation Instrumentation Pvt Ltd Narendra Kulkarni will be the vice chairman.

Narwade brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, where he has played a key role in enhancing workforce efficiency through various leadership positions. Kulkarni's association with Endress Hauser began in April 2007, when he joined Endress Hauser Flowtec. In May 2012, he was appointed MD of Endress Hauser Wetzer (India) Private Limited. In January 2024 he moved into his current role.
